Medicare Supplement Plan F
Until recent years, Plan F has traditionally been the most popular Medicare Supplement. Plan F provides the most coverage by paying 100% of deductibles and co-insurance under parts A & B. When you have a Plan F policy, you have zero out of pocket expenses as a patient for services covered under Medicare A & B. Plan F also has a high deductible version. This high deductible version kicks in after you have met your annual out pocket deductible, which is set by Medicare each year. Please note that Plan F will no longer be available for those starting Medicare beginning January 1st, 2020. If you started Medicare prior to this date, you will remain eligible to purchase a Plan F policy.
